The origin of Brushed by the Beach can be traced back as far as 2007, where I would recreate pieces for both my friends as well as myself. At the onset of the pandemic in 2020 my desire and passion to create became fueled by another passion of mine, the rescue of English Bulldogs. Taking pieces that were donated, I would bring these pieces back to life and sell them to raise money for the rescues that were exclusively saving the bullies.

The popularity and buzz created by the pieces created a demand that grew exponentially in 2021. This demand spawned the idea of what we now know today as Brushed by the Beach. Furniture that I bring back to life with artistic flair and modern color palates.

Fortunately, in 2022 Brushed by the Beach continues to grow as we continue to create the brand that I feel distinguishes me from many of my contemporaries in the furniture artistry business - not to mention continuing my support of local English Bulldog rescues.
